Twistlock – Dovebase

A secure container lashing setup starts with a solid foundation. The Twistlock Dovebase is a dovetail base fitting that is welded to a deck, trailer or flatrack. It gives a dovetail twistlock a fixed, reliable point to slide into and lock, so containers stay firmly anchored to the surface beneath them during transport.

The Dovebase is built to carry the full load passed through the twistlock above it. It has a 50t tension breaking load, a 42t shear breaking load and a 25t lashing capacity. Manufactured from high-quality cast and galvanised steel, it handles constant loading, vibration and exposure to salt and weather. This makes it a dependable permanent fixture for ports, vessels and transport fleets.
